For WordPress, HostGator, DreamHost, and our Favorite WP Engine are the best! WordPress.org recommends the first two, and WP Engine is secure, managed WordPress only hosting.

As a custom WordPress theme designer, we build all of our sites on the Genesis Framework by StudioPress and their themes — when we work on themes — are the only one we work on because their code standards are high and maintained and the themes are built with SEO, simplicity, and security in mind.

I just want to add that I tried WordPress but eventually I moved to exai.com because it was easier to use and because of that instead of giving you a limited (though big) number of templates, it builds a unique and custom website for you, based on the details you give, so you know that your website is one-of-a-kind
