Take Action Notes:
- Give your prospects and clients exactly what they want and need from you. Be advised that this can be completely different from what YOU think they want. Remember, it’s all about them.
- You are not an acupuncturist, spa owner, consultant or whatever you are. You are a problem solver! Your prospects have to see you as that, so make sure you speak to the pain points they’re struggling with and what outcome they are looking for.
- Make it easy for them to say yes! Name your packaged solutions according to the results they will receive. Allow your prospect to see clearly that you understand them and their problem. AND that you have the solution they have been looking for. They should be able to easily say “that’s my problem and that’s the solution I need!”
- If you’re struggling with how to price your services, start with basing your packages on your hourly rate. Identify how long it will take you to complete each piece of the project and then add a bit of a mark-up (things always take longer than you think). Voila! Now you have a package!
- Offer different options. More access equates to higher fees, natural right? Also, give your prospects at least two payment options. Offer an incentive for paying in full and a bit of a markup for a payment plan. They can choose which option works best for them.

Great job with the video this week! It is so great to see you live doing what you do best! My favorite tip that you just gave was about the fact that you should build your products around the problems that you solve. It is not about us, it is about the client. Sometimes as entrepreneurs, I think we forget that. It really is about the client…

Hi Sydni,
You are just so CUTE in this video! Love the point you made about some clients just needing a one-off solution. Quick and simple. Not everyone will fit into the one-size solutions we may offer. AND be prepared for those who want the whole enchilada solution. I was recently surprised by someone who called me out of the blue and just wanted to go right to the high end “done for you” solution.
Keep up these great videos. I am so impressed and inspired. Will have to start mine soon!

Great post Syndi – as always. I am sharing with a client now. I LOVE how you emphasized being a problem solver and stating the problem they are looking to solve right out of the gate – this is so critical. People want results – and they need to know that you can deliver those results – especially when they will pay what they need to in order to solve it. Thanks for sharing your wisdom, love the video too! 🙂

This is really a great tips for me, as a business woman in the field of marketing I need to posses this kind of positive thoughts that I need to convinced my prospects to make all things worthy… I think I need to make my self more convincing if I really wanted to attain my expectation…

Sydni –
LOVE THIS —> “Be advised that this can be completely different from what YOU think they want.”
THIS is the reason so many people fail online. They thrown up a free offer and an opt-in and then wonder why it doesn’t work – the answer is usually that they put up an offer they liked, or was easy to create … not one that their audience really wanted, needed, or cared about.
