One online success secret I’ll share with you now is to NOT try to do too much at one time, especially when you’re starting out. Most folks who start an online business try to devour the whole “pie” at one time. This often leads to wasted time, wasted money, frustration and a lack of results. It’s very difficult to tackle branding, SEO, email marketing, blogging, social media marketing and the like ALL at the same time. To avoid spinning your wheels and feeling like you want to pull your hair out, FIRST, do your market research and develop a strategy for how you’re going to grow your business, based specifically on your ideal client profile and what that individual wants to learn from you. Yes, I realize this isn’t the fun, sexy part of growing your business. But it’s going to take a LOT longer to see the results (i.e. profits) if you skip this step. Secondly, implement just ONE strategy at a time. Master it and then add in another one. You’ll make steady progress and can easily track what’s working and what’s not.
