That is, if you want to sell to Technology companies.
The members of the Technology Industry Group (TIG) have been actively encouraging diverse suppliers to create an explainer video to replace the traditional capability statement.
This means you need to get clear on the story of what makes your company unique. This includes why you started the company, what your day to day operations look like, what solutions you offer your customers and anything that distinguishes you from your competitors.
You want your video to be succinct, compelling, engaging and 3 minutes or less.
We’re just about at the point where having this video is non-negotiable for tech companies. It makes sense too – because having this video makes it easier for Supplier Diversity professionals to sell you and your business internally.
